Mind the Gap is a three-episode shortfilm series directed by Sunsang and produced by Be a Lion for Samsung Spain, as part of the global #withGalaxy campaign. Shot entirely on the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, the series explores emotional disconnection in the digital age through a minimal yet visually striking narrative.

Each episode tells a self-contained story with different characters, all connected by a shared aesthetic and emotional tone — uncomfortable silences, mental noise, routine, and the quiet collapse of human connection.

Zerek Casting curated a diverse and expressive ensemble of emerging actors, each chosen for their ability to communicate subtle emotion and presence on screen. The casting reflects a generation shaped by overstimulation and isolation, brought to life through real, nuanced performances.

The project showcases the power of mobile filmmaking and how everyday moments can be transformed into something deeply cinematic.
