DIGI Portugal – Rollercoaster TVC (2025)

Zerek Casting was responsible for the full casting direction of the DIGI Portugal “Rollercoaster” TVC, part of a nationwide campaign launched in 2025. The ad forms part of a series of metaphor-driven commercials that highlight the freedom and flexibility DIGI offers in contrast to traditional telecom providers.

Set in an amusement park, the story begins with a family trapped on a rollercoaster that keeps going in endless loops. They scream for help—until they spot someone who might finally stop the ride. But instead of a rescue, the attendant tries to convince them to stay trapped for another two years, symbolizing the frustrating long-term contracts often imposed by other telecom companies.

Our role at Zerek Casting was to find a believable, relatable family with strong expressions and natural chemistry, capable of carrying the ad’s emotional arc: from frustration to comic absurdity and finally, to relief. We also cast supporting roles to bring realism and rhythm to the story’s amusement park setting.

The twist comes when a DIGI representative appears, presses the stop button, and frees the family—delivering the campaign’s core message:

“DIGI has arrived — TV, NET, and MOBILE with no penalties or binding contracts. Just pure freedom.”

This commercial visually reinforces DIGI’s values: honesty, transparency, and customer freedom.
